About Us
The Middletown Township Public School District will collaborate as a unified community to empower each student to achieve their fullest potential by providing an engaging, inclusive, and safe educational environment. The District will responsibly and effectively utilize available resources to promote life-long learning and responsible citizenship to our students throughout their learning journey. The District will encourage students to develop their imagination and creativity, aspire to greatness, value diverse perspectives, and demonstrate cultural competence as global citizens to prepare for future academic, career, and personal success.

Upcoming Events
Gowns are blue, there are no collars and no caps for the promotion ceremony.
With our June 17th Promotion Ceremony fast approaching, we wanted to inform you that Thompson 8th Graders will have an Early Release that day to be able to go home and prepare for the ceremony. 8th Grade students who have a signed permission slip will be permitted to leave Thompson at 10:30 AM. Below is some important information to read:
- HERE is the Early Release Permission Slip Form.
- Hard copies of the Permission Slip will be handed out to 8th Graders in their 1B Homerooms tomorrow, May 28th.
- Deadline to return to their Homeroom Teacher is Friday, June 6th.
- 8th Grade Students are required to be present in school that day in order to participate in the Promotion Ceremony.
- 8th Grade Breakfast and Promotion Ceremony Practice will be held that morning prior to their Early Release.
- 8th Grade students who have not handed in a signed permission slip to leave early, will not be released.
- Please read the permission slip in its entirety for additional information.
Release of students in grades 6 & 7
A note must be sent to school on June 17th if you wish to pick a 6th or 7th grade student early.
You will have to come to the main office lobby and sign your child out.
Any 6th or 7th grade that is released early will be marked absent for the day.
Tickets will be available through the HomeTown Ticketing website (The site is not LIVE yet but will open on June 2, 2025)

1. Enter Passcode (Family Code - located in Genesis Parent Portal under Student Data,
Summary, Information) and Click "Apply"
2. Add quantity of tickets and click "Checkout"
3. Enter Contact Information & Click "Submit Order"
4. A confirmation email will be sent to the email provided at checkout, with a PDF
attachment of your ticket(s). Tickets may also be accessed via the HomeTown Fan
app, just download and log in using the same phone number used at checkout.
